Muslim Youth NYC (MY NYC) is the Muslim Community Network’s (MCN) Youth Civic Fellowship. In an interactive hands-on environment, this initiative empowers the next generation of leaders by providing them with the opportunity to learn valuable leadership skills, develop their confidence and identity as leaders, address local social justice issues and initiate projects to address community issues of importance to them.
Every cycle MCN accepts 15 students to partake in the fellowship. Please read the schedules (attached to this email) before applying. If you have a time conflict, please let us know in advance. You may apply to either the Fall or the Spring cohort.
Fellows are compensated with a single $350.00 stipend at the conclusion of their fellowship. MCN will cover all program related costs including food and travel. Apply here (link in bio): https://bit.ly/3sQWUBC
