Founded and supported by the League of Women Voters of the Syracuse Metropolitan Area, OnondagaVotes! is an all-volunteer nonpartisan coalition of local organizations dedicated to getting out the vote in the Syracuse area in each and every annual election in New York State, especially in Election Districts in which the voter turnout rate is typically low. For our first three election years (2018, 2019, and 2020) we focused on four Election Districts in the South Side of Syracuse. Our activities consist of voter registration and voter education events that include door-knocking campaigns and being a presence at community events and community institutions that support our representation as a force for civic engagement.
